As a Pharmacist on our team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services in a high‑volume automated central fill and/or digital pharmacy environment. Your clinical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence will ensure patients and partners receive the highest quality care. From verifying prescriptions to collaborating with cross‑functional teams and supporting staff, your work will help improve health outcomes every day. Schedule: Varies by site; may include evenings, weekends, or holiday rotation Specifically, we need you to: Prescription Accuracy & Quality Assurance Perform the Final Quality Assurance check on prescriptions processed through central fill automation, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance prior to release. Oversee day‑to‑day prescription processes, resolving issues to support timely medication delivery. Monitor automation systems, workflows, and production to maintain consistent and efficient output. Operational Support Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure pharmacy environment. Prioritize and complete daily operational tasks, including workflow oversight, production monitoring, inventory management, and cycle counts. Participate in projects and improvement initiatives designed to optimize pharmacy operations and elevate service quality. Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a subject-matter expert in pharmacy operations for internal departments. Partner with internal and external vendors to support system updates, software improvements, and issue resolution. Collaborate with supervisors and the Pharmacist in Charge to meet all safety, quality, and compliance standards. Support compliance packaging processes and ensure accurate application of specialized patient‑specific labeling (Braille, large‑print, audible labels), ensuring accessibility and regulatory compliance. Customer & Stakeholder Support Provide timely, accurate, and friendly support to patients, providers, and partners. Assist with call triage and issue resolution as needed. Leadership & Staff Supervision Assist in supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff in alignment with company policies and state regulations. Provide coaching, training, task delegation, and performance feedback when applicable. Assume operational responsibility during the absence of the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist in Charge. Compliance & Regulations Follow all federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, professional standards, and internal policies. Support licensing activities, quality assurance processes, controlled substance management, and operational documentation.
