About The Position

We’re looking for a reliable team member to support both deliveries and shop operations. This position includes driving company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials and finished products, as well as assisting as a shop hand in our metal fabrication shop when not driving. Job seekers should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and strong customer service skills. This is a full-time, daytime position, typically scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers (as applicable)
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, loading, and moving materials
• Willingness to assist in a metal fabrication shop and perform general shop duties
• Basic mechanical awareness and the ability to perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance
• Ability to follow safety procedures and job site rules
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a full-time, daytime schedule (typically 6:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday–Friday)

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials and finished products safely and on time
• Load, secure, and unload materials to prevent damage during transport
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections (fueling, fluid checks, tire pressure, cleanliness, reporting mechanical issues)
• Assist in the metal fabrication shop as a shop hand when not driving
• Help with material handling, organization, and general shop tasks
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, and job sites
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
• Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues to the shop or office promptly
• Keep delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork organized as required
