Delivery Technician
About The Position
Delivery Technician needed Saturday and Sunday, May through August, 9 am-5 pm. This is a seasonal summer job, with potential for long term employment. May require use of personal cell phone. Our ideal candidate has: Excellent communication skills General knowledge of the Grand Strand and surrounding areas A clean driving record (3 year driving record from DMV is required) and is comfortable driving a van The ability to lift 55 pounds, load and unload medical scooters, wheelchairs, beach wheelchairs, hospital beds, lift chairs, etc. into a van. Professional, courteous, and friendly with customers Ability to explain proper care and use of equipment Experience using computers and Microsoft Office Suite About Us We offer a range of mobile devices including wheelchairs to scooters, walkers to hospital beds, oxygen to medical alarms, The Mobility Center of The Grand Strand is the only stop for all mobility needs. Responsibilities
- Delivering, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment
- Facilitate and coordinate delivery of medical equipment
- Responsible for setting up medical equipment in a professional and timely manner
- Teach customer about safe and proper use of the equipment
- Responsible for keeping vehicle clean, organized and maintained
- Ensuring the storefront is organized and clean
- Interact with customers in person and by phone
