The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment. This role involves managing a group of 15-20 GEO delivery drivers, ensuring that deliveries are made to key customers efficiently and effectively. The Delivery Supervisor will be the primary point of contact for field customer calls regarding deliveries, ensuring that 100% customer service is achieved. A critical aspect of this position is to ensure that store delivery time windows are met daily, which requires proactive collaboration with sales representatives and warehouse operations to understand the needs of both customers and the sales force. In addition to managing daily operations, the Delivery Supervisor will coach, lead, and develop drivers to support the sales organization and improve daily productivity. This includes conducting gate-to-gate route rides at least twice a week to identify areas for improvement. The role also requires maintaining process improvements to enhance delivery productivity and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation and PBC safety standards. Regular team meetings and safety training will be conducted to enforce preventive measures and promote a culture of safety within the team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills, possess excellent organizational and prioritizing abilities, and have a highly developed sense of urgency.
