About The Position

Essential Responsibilities:
Must review contents of order with customer for accuracy and communicate edits & changes back to dispatch.
Provide paperwork post-delivery in a timely manner.
Have access to a smart phone while driving.
Must be able to handle Dollars as a form of payment when delivering the product.
Perform daily pre-trip safety inspections on all equipment.
Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch as required.
Required to operate delivery trucks and comply with all safety regulations and all applicable laws.
Ability to work independently and/or as a team member.
Position requires the ability to sit and drive for up to 6 hours; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum
• Must be a minimum of 25 years of age
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience (van or similar) within the past three years
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record and valid NYS License
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Must have access to a smart phone while driving
• Position requires the ability to sit and drive for up to 6 hours; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds
