About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver. This is a full-time position earning $21.00 per hour. Must be available for 7 AM start. Willing to work OT as required. Some Saturday shifts as needed. The branch is located in Newburgh, NY, which is the starting and stopping point of the day. Must be willing to drive to Woolrich, PA branch at minimum once a week to pick up food/dry stock. This is a 9-10 hour day depending on traffic/construction. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
Valid drivers license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
Ability to pass the DOT Physical
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently

Responsibilities

Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
Discard unsold and stale merchandise
Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
Manage the care of the company vehicle
