About The Position

A Delivery Route Driver drives a company van/truck to deliver and unload paint and paint-related products to different locations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1 - 2 years' driving experience
• Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Florida Paints is a Drug Free Workplace, therefore, applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Employees are also subject to random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Drives van or truck to deliver such items as paint and paint-related products to customer's place of business.
• Records transactions on customer receipt.
• Records delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
• Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Loads and unloads truck.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Cleans inside of truck.
• Ensures routine maintenance is performed on truck.
• Completes mileage log and maintenance log on truck.
• Repetitive lifting of weights of 50 lbs. and occasional lifting of weights of over 70 lbs.
• When not making deliveries, assist store manager with any duties that may be assigned, which include, but are not limited to: assisting customers, re-stocking inventory, tinting of paint, cleaning etc.
• Other miscellaneous tasks, as required.
