About The Position

The Delivery Project Manager at IBM is responsible for managing consulting engagements that utilize software across various IBM brands, including Automation, Data and AI, Security, and Sustainability. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of projects, ensuring that integrated solutions meet client needs, and maintaining effective communication with leadership and team members. The Project Manager will work independently while managing resources, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements to deliver successful outcomes for clients.

Requirements

• High School diploma and 5 - 7+ years of experience in a consultative services organization.
• Customer interface experience in consulting and professional services.
• Proven Project Management experience (PMP, Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or other certifications).
• Experience working with multiple project methodologies.
• Ability to participate in a virtual office setting and maintain an active presence via phone and email.
• Excellent customer service, relationship management, and facilitation skills.
• Solid personal leadership and management skills with a collaborative style.
• Ability to travel up to 50% when required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in IBM software products such as Cloud Paks, Instana, watsonx, and Turbonomic.
• Familiarity with concepts of Generative AI and Machine Learning.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for supporting critical customer situations.
• Ability to interpret and understand client's business and technical needs.
• Capability to bridge between client's technical needs and IBM Lab Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage efforts of IBM resources, client employees, and third-party vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with leadership regarding work status and potential risks.
• Advise and provide guidance to other professionals involved in the project.
• Work independently with minimal oversight while ensuring project goals are met.
