As a member of our Bulldog Cartage Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our culture of customer service excellence. Our Truck Drivers are required to have excellent customer service skills, a Class A CDL and ensure safe and efficient deliveries to our customers. Requirements

  • At least one year of truck driving experience.
  • Ability to drive a stick shift truck (manual transmission).
  • Valid Class "A" CDL stick shift interstate license.
  • Flatbed hauling experience.
  • Valid medical card.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to drive a stick shift truck (manual transmission).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with both internal and external customers.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude for tracking materials and completing trip logs.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
  • Fluent in English to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various trucks (straight boom truck, semi-tractor trailer) safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues.
  • Follow delivery and pick-up instructions from the dispatch team.
  • Unload cargo at customer destinations with care and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of transported materials and products.
  • Promptly report incidents/accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain daily and monthly trip logs according to local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and industry standards.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
