Cirrus Aircraft is searching for a full-time summer Delivery Pilot Intern in Knoxville, TN from May 2025 through August 2025. The Delivery Pilot Intern will gain experience in many different areas within the Delivery Operations department while gaining professional experience with a global leader in general aviation manufacturing. The Delivery Pilot Intern's primary responsibility will be supporting the Delivery Operations Team with their day-to-day responsibilities. As a very customer-facing member of the Cirrus team, this person will be expected to interact with Cirrus customers and assist as necessary. Some of the core responsibilities include; aircraft delivery event record keeping, scheduling, delivery setup, aircraft presentation, and conducting delivery flights. Ancillary duties include last-minute aircraft detailing, safety management, line service activities, flight planning and preparation, complex problem solving, mastery of subject matter material, and recommending processes improvements. Additional duties include acting as pilot in command of Cirrus aircraft while performing 14 CFR part 91 corporate flight operations (demonstration, repositioning, and post-maintenance flights) when needed, and other similar pilot duties.
