About The Position

The position of Delivery Manager for R.H. Barringer encompasses a broad range of management and administrative duties. The duties include but are not limited to: Day to Day Duties: Ensure all product ordered is delivered efficiently to all RHB accounts Manage Delivery Team to maintain proper product rotation per Company standards. Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of products. Actively develop potential employee candidates. Interview and hire new team employees. Follow all Company Operational and Administrative procedures. Ensure all new hires are given a 30, 60, and 90 day evaluation, as well as completed the Delivery Driver - On-the Job training packet. Complete ELDT Training in a timely and accurate manner, reporting completion immediately to Director of Logistics. Maintain a DOT Regulation safe fleet, ensuring pre and post trip inspections are completed and filed properly. Maintain employee DOT files and audit annually to maintain compliance. Participate in the Delivery Manager PFP program to exceed goals of each part of the program. Ride With Delivery Team employees/make calls with Delivery Team at least to PFP minimums. Communicate efficiently with all Delivery Team Members, Admin, Sales, Warehouse, and General management. Assist in Routing Projects, ensuring accounts service standards are maintained per company policy. Conduct regularly scheduled quarterly Delivery Safety Meetings with the Delivery Team Promote company Safety Policies, Programs, and Uniform Polices and manage delivery team to ensure compliance. Perform all other duties as required by Management. Ability to navigate Encompass to fix issues that occur during the day Listen to and Address customer and co-worker issues and complaints in a professional manner Expected Hours: Minimum of 50 hours per week per industry standard Approved transportation for enrollment into the Encompass Mileage Tracker Program to be used while conducting company business Ability to acquire insurance on Personal Vehicle used on Company business to the limits of "250,500,100"

Requirements

  • Class A CDL and DOT physical. (Mandatory)
  • Cicerone Certified Beer Server (Mandatory)

  • Human Resource Experience (Preferred)
  • Proficient Skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email (Preferred)
  • Proficient Skills using Encompass Route Accounting System (Preferred)
