About The Position

The Delivery & Install Technician role at Axis involves loading, delivering, and installing equipment at various customer sites for both emergency and scheduled events. This often requires long drives or overnight stays. Technicians are expected to provide professional and respectful service, acting as the face of Axis, and to solve on-site challenges. They will track activity and progress by communicating job notes and updates with their team using company-provided technology. Maintaining clean equipment, organized vehicles, and adhering to professional uniform standards are also key responsibilities. The position requires commercial driving experience, the ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and involves physical tasks in diverse indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures. When not on the road, technicians will work in the warehouse preparing and cleaning equipment. Requirements

  • A 5-year clean driving record is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling 25+ lbs., and must be comfortable working on ladders.
  • Effective communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities and a professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable with mobile devices, tablets, and laptops; able to navigate apps, complete digital records, and communicate with customers.
  • Strong desire to deepen your expertise in HVAC diagnostics, service, and responsibilities, taking on more complex challenges with each year of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
  • Experience in box-trucks, and sprinter vans.
  • 1+ year of HVAC technician experience.

Responsibilities

  • Load, Deliver & Install Equipment: to a variety of customer sites for emergency or scheduled events, sometimes requiring long drives or overnight stays.
  • Serve Customers: Be the face of Axis on the frontlines. You will be asked daily to provide professional, respectful service while performing work and/or solving on-site challenges.
  • Work With Your Team: Track activity and progress by communicating job notes and updates with your team, keeping everything organized using company provided technology.
  • Uphold Our Standard: Keep equipment clean, vehicles organized and adhere to our professional uniform standards while delivering industry-leading customer service.
