About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Delivery Expert to join our team in Suffolk, United States. As a Delivery Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport orders to customers' locations Accurately process customer orders, including receiving phone orders and using computer systems Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring correct monetary change Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and work area Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Adhere to company policies, food safety standards, and traffic laws Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues to management Assist with additional in-store tasks as needed, such as food preparation or cleaning

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent knowledge of Suffolk area and strong navigation skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including order entry and GPS navigation
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry deliveries (up to 25 pounds)
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in food delivery or customer service (preferred)
