About the position
The Delivery Driver at Papa John's is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service. This role involves working as part of a team, supporting various restaurant duties, and adhering to company policies and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Check all products for accuracy against quality standards before delivery.
- Deliver products to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- Perform pre-delivery vehicle preparation and learn the delivery area.
- Check orders for quality and accuracy and follow proper delivery procedures.
- Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone.
- Act with a sense of urgency in all tasks.
- Perform other assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients, and taking orders.
- Support team members by being punctual and assisting with other workstations during shifts.
- Complete all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift.
- Enhance the company's image by complying with uniform and appearance standards.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
- Accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions, and execute cash management duties.
- Use the FOCUS System for order processing.
- Support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average and distributing door hangers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works.
- Proof of insurance and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to drive.
