About The Position

As a Delivery Driver at Staples, you will play a crucial role in transporting products safely and delivering office supplies to customers on your assigned route. Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving history acceptable to the company.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC).
• Obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs and push/pull items weighing up to 400lbs with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience (operating a 16ft or longer straight truck).
• High volume package delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned route to customers.
• Load the truck depending on volume and organize products for delivery utilizing the manifest.
• Ensure safe work practices and foster a safety culture.
• Provide customer support, accept product returns, and resolve customer issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
