About The Position
The Delivery Driver II transports parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another and assists in the warehouse.
Requirements
- Valid driving license
- Excellent driving record
- Being able to pass DOT physical
Responsibilities
- Plan and complete an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day
- Load delivery vehicle with equipment scheduled for delivery
- Deliver supplies to correct addresses, Obtain signatures and proof of receipt when necessary
- Pick up supplies along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested
- Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made
- Ensure the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; Report larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor
- Follow company and industry safety guidelines and regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
