About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Fayetteville, TN. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
MUST maintain good driving record duration of employment as delivery driver
Demonstrated ability to drive safely and follow all traffic laws
Reliable personal transportation to and from work
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and mileage calculations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical stamina to perform deliveries throughout a full shift
Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Adaptable to changing weather conditions and delivery schedules

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with recipients
Collect signatures and payments when required
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Report any issues or delays to the dispatch team promptly
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks before and after shifts
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock or damaged items
Communicate with dispatch about road conditions, traffic issues, or other factors affecting delivery times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
