About The Position
The Small Format Delivery Drivers is a fast-paced position responsible for the daily duties of route delivery and merchandising including stocking shelves, displays, and in coolers on their assigned routes. Schedule: Normal Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday; 100 days of summer Monday-Friday; start time between 4:30 and 6:30 AM
Requirements
- Class A CDL License and all appropriate endorsements
- Must be able to lift 60-70 lbs. and push or pull up to 1000 lbs. on a regular basis
- Good communication skills and ability to process change.
- Ability to perform many tasks at the same time.
- Understand basic accounting principles
- Working knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures
- Ability to manage an inventory system
- Ability to comprehend policies & procedures
- Maintain acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Ensure all shelves and cold equipment are properly filled and merchandised to MBG Standards
- Execute and maintain Customer Development Agreements
- Execute MBG promotional calendars
- Maintain Customer Service Expectations in our marketplace
- Keep back room inventory neat and organized
- Ensure Product Rotation minimizing OOD products
- Display Point of Sale Specific to Brands/Packages
- Operate all company vehicles in a safe manner and to DOT regulations
- Adhere to company policies in handling cash/checks
