About The Position

Straub Distributing Company/Budweiser - Anaheim, CA Home Every Day! Position delivers beverage products to local retail customers in Orange County and the western part of Riverside Count Class A license is required Average hourly compensation for full time drivers is $30 per hour including commission & performance bonus. $28.08 per hour base wage plus daily commission (after 660 hour probationary period) with scheduled annual increases. Starting probationary pay & duration is determined by experience. A 4-day week with 10 hours of scheduled work, Tuesday – Friday. (that's 52 three day weekends) Home Every Day! Company pays over $16,000 per year for medical benefits (medical, dental, prescription, vision, and employee life insurance) that cover the employee, spouse and dependents. The employee’s share for medical benefits is zero. Company pension contribution is up to $8,216 per year per employee Company provides a gym available on site for employees. Job is union with structured holiday, vacation, & sick pay.

Requirements

• Motivated, hardworking and responsible
• Must be able to write, communicate, and read English
• Must be able to perform basic math: add and subtract decimals and whole numbers
• Valid Class A driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must establish positive working relationships with key contacts at each account
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to climb stairs/ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and reach with both hands and arms repetitively throughout the day
• Must be able to see closely (clear vision at 20 inches or less), have peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Must be able to lift 20 to 45 pounds repetitively, and occasionally kegs weighing up to 165 pounds throughout the workday.
• Must be willing to adapt to various environments including but not limited to: Extreme cold (coolers), Grocery Stores, and enclosed spaces
• Straub is a zero tolerance and drug free employer

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving a commercial vehicle/tractor trailer: 1 year preferred
