About The Position

We’re seeking a full-time Box Truck Driver to deliver customer orders and pick up goods and packages between warehouse locations. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction. Some Duties May Include: o Operate a 26-foot company provided box truck o Safely operate delivery vehicle at all times while obeying traffic laws and signals o Navigate a variety of urban and rural routes throughout delivery area o Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner o Load and unload product from vehicle while utilizing o Inspect and monitor mechanical aspects of delivery vehicle daily o Reporting maintenance or repair issues o Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials o Provide excellent customer service with all delivery interactions o When not on the road, you will be working in the warehouse assisting with various warehousing activities

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in all types of environments such as various weather conditions, indoor and outdoor
• Valid Driver’s License (Chauffer’s License preferred or endorsement required before driving)
• Knowledge of Detroit Metro Area; comfortable making inner-city deliveries
• Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clean motor vehicle report
