About The Position

The Delivery Driver position is primarily responsible for delivering meals and snacks to the school locations and assisting the manager and the food service department in food preparation and other kitchen duties. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a current driver’s license.
Must successfully pass all required employment and health clearances (e.g. TB clearance, clean driving abstract, etc.)

Responsibilities

Loading the company delivery van with the correct quantities of food and milk for the schools on each route.
Safely driving the appropriate route and delivering the coolers to each school.
Retrieving any empty coolers and kitchen items to return to the food service department.
Handling inter-office mail deliveries.
Helping kitchen staff with meals and snacks.
Counting of fruits, vegetables, etc. for each site.
Loading milk into coolers for sites.
Setting up boxes for all sites.
Sanitizing coolers.
Wash dishes and scrub baking pans.
Assists with stocking inventory to include canned goods, paper products and milk.
Keeping the delivery van clean on a daily basis.
Reporting any vehicle maintenance or safety issue to the supervisor immediately.
Using proper safety equipment provided for safe lifting and transporting of deliveries.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
