About The Position
We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Manasquan, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service. Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency Use navigation tools and apps to locate delivery addresses Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and address any concerns Collect payments and signatures when required Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using navigation tools and basic smartphone applications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Physical stamina and ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating change
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be preferred
- Familiarity with the Manasquan area and surrounding regions is a plus
