Position Summary:

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Delivers packages or products according to the scheduled route. Follows designated schedule and seeks efficient travel routes. Scans or records packages and maintains documentation of deliveries. Conducts routine vehicle inspections and schedules repairs on vehicles as needed. Follows all DOT and company regulations to operate safely.

We are seeking a 1st Shift Delivery Driver to join our team at Wesanco in our Garden Grove, CA Facility.

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Valid and current driver’s license and requires a Class A - CDL.
• Professional communication
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Follow delivery schedules and routes
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Requires a Valid Driver's License.
• Requires (CDL) - Class A.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
• Follow the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
• Meeting delivery deadlines
• Performing basic truck maintenance
• Loading and unloading cargo
• Tracking shipments and deliveries
• Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
