The work environment involves exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, significant temperature fluctuations (from 36 degrees in coolers to over 90 degrees in some work areas), food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces (ovens up to 500 degrees or higher), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
