About The Position

Propane Energy Partners is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Propane Delivery Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering essential energy services to our customers while representing our commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record
Valid CDL Class B license with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements(or willingness to get)
Ability to meet all DOT requirements (physical, drug screen, road test)
Basic computer skills for customer and delivery systems
Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment repairs
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs regularly
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck and deliver propane to residential and commercial customers
Transfer propane from truck to customer tanks following all safety procedures
Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on propane equipment (leak tests, appliances, etc.)
Assist with tank installations and service work as needed
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant facilities and equipment
Provide excellent customer service with a professional and respectful attitude
Accurately complete delivery tickets, logs, and required documentation
Follow all company safety policies and report incidents promptly
Participate in required training and certification programs
