Delivery Driver Job Summary The primary function of the Delivery Driver is to assist in the transfer of parts to/from KWS locations and vendors/customers.

Requirements

Able to read and comprehend English instructions and information.
High School Diploma
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Desire to learn all phases of business for possible promotion.
Experience in Shipping: knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills.
Packaging Skills: knowledge of how material should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage.
Excellent organization and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program.
Experience in Customer Service and Delivery.

Responsibilities

Pick up parts from local suppliers and deliver to appropriate KWS locations.
Pick-up and deliver transfer parts to other Kenworth Sales locations.
Clean and deliver cores to Parts Department ensuring they are appropriately tagged and boxed.
Pick and prepare orders throughout the day as needed.
Assist in housekeeping and stocking parts
Drive company vehicles in a safe manner and obey all traffic laws.
Have truck serviced and washed as needed.
