Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to operate a 26-foot moving truck for local and regional deliveries. This role involves transporting live plants and nursery materials to customers while ensuring products arrive in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is punctual, physically capable, customer-service oriented, and comfortable handling plant materials.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required unless specified)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving box trucks or commercial vehicles preferred
• Basic knowledge of plant handling (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box/moving truck for scheduled deliveries
• Load, secure, transport, and unload plants, trees, shrubs, and nursery products
• Inspect vehicle daily and report maintenance needs promptly
• Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments
• Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery
• Collect delivery paperwork, signatures, and payments when required
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck
• Assist with loading and general nursery tasks during downtime
• Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations
