About The Position

Overview Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task Job Summary: Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of patient’s orders and supplies, while ensuring total patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing
  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
  • Job Skills Required: Basic Math skills necessary to make accurate change
  • Strong communication skills
  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, and walk throughout the duration of the shift
  • Limited lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Attendance Requirements: Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Preferred: 0-2 years’ previous experience in related position

Responsibilities

  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle
  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent
  • Accurately prepare packages for home/business delivery
  • Responsible for infusion pump pickup per company policy when required
  • Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to ensure timely delivery with least travel required
  • Inform patients of prescription counseling services when delivering prescriptions
  • Proper processing of receipts upon completion of delivery
  • Ensure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior
  • Replenish delivery supplies as needed
  • Greet patients using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed
  • Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned
