About The Position

The delivery driver is responsible to pick up and drop of business essential items to and from job sites, service and install personnel, and warehouse. He is to keep in constant contact with Warehouse Manager. Driver is specifically responsible for the following: To be courteous, neat, clean, and in uniform on the job. Keeping the Warehouse Manager informed at all times as to “where he is,” Maintain and protect company assigned tools, and report any deficiencies to the Keep in contact with CSR’s regarding pick up’s of money, paperwork, parts, and warranties. Assist in truck inventory counts. To be responsible for his vehicle organization & appearance, both inside and out on a weekly basis. Report any vehicle mechanical problems to the vehicle maintenance coordinator. To report to the Warehouse Manager when he will not be working. Ample notice must be given. To be available for after-hours service as the Warehouse Manager feels necessary, based on business needs. Be available to work out of town if needed with ample notice, based on business needs. May include overnight stay. Follow all rules and guidelines listed in employee handbook. Perform any other duties Warehouse Manager deems necessary.

Requirements

  • High School diploma. Trade school or equivalent.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to perform their job in a neat, professional manner.
  • Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with customers and employee’s. Have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with step ladders and extension ladders. Not afraid of heights.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds above your waist.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass insurance requirements.
  • Must be able to pull and back up a trailer.

  • Responsible for any items relating to uniforms, ordering, billing, e-orders and repairs.
  • Return warranty parts for credit, return any unused parts.
  • Make deliveries to installation, new construction, and service jobs as needed.
