Job Summary: This position’s primary function is to accurately deliver products to restaurants, institutional facilities, distributors, markets, and other locations as specified and in a timely manner, while monitoring cold chain policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Requirements of the Job and % of time spent performing them (listed in order of importance): 75% Delivery of orders to customer stops; unload product & check in orders with customers; obtain delivery signature; and collecting full payment from customers (and marking “paid†on invoices when payments are received); obey traffic laws 15% Picking up Product at various locations. 5% Following designated maintenance schedule for trucks 5% Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. 5% Following Collection policies that are designated on invoices 5% Setting up orders on Mondays or during holiday weeks or as needed Skills Re quired to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job: Clearly notate discrepancies (shortages, mis-picks, or returns) on invoices Proper handling of all monetary receipts, using truck safes Return empty boxes, bread trays, and milk crates Coordinate with supervisor for pick-ups Return to warehouse punctually—helping as needed with warehouse functions i.e. cleaning, sweeping, and unloading truck with returned merchandise or boxes and returning to designated locations and notifying supervisor of returns Checking in with receipts and invoices with accounting department Pleasant, friendly, and cooperative with customers—aim for customer satisfaction Must have a cell phone on at all times for business communication purposes only. Neat and clean appearance wearing designated uniforms as indicated by company policies. Other Duties as Assigned
