Delivery Driver
About The Position
Delivery Drivers at Aaron's are responsible for keeping things moving. This role is not a typical desk job, involving a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks, driving, installing, and demonstrating merchandise to customers. As a store-based position, the driver will also support the store by assisting with moving, installing, and picking up merchandise. The job offers daily variety and opportunities to connect with community members. Being a Delivery Driver at Aaron's can serve as an entry point to a career path that could lead to roles such as Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, and General Manager.
Requirements
- Solid communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronics
- Desire to help customers
- Age: 21 (18 in Canada)
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Able to perform physical job including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly
- Able to work in all outdoor weather, including rain or summer sun
- A valid driver’s license is required, but not a CDL
- No overnight travel
