About The Position
Primary Job Functions: Responsible for delivering merchandise to customers in a safe and efficient manner Safely load and unload equipment and materials, including material dumps or drops Take and upload digital pictures of deliveries Perform daily truck and forklift inspections Work with delivery dates, order fulfillments, and receiving Assist checking in freight and trucks Keep yard and warehouse stocked and cleaned Help maintain cleanliness, neatness, and safety of building and lot Communicate with call outs and delivery schedules Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments Adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in Employee Handbook Secondary Job Functions: Unload freight and trucks Assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise Help with glass and plexiglass, where applicable Help inside, when needed Qualifications
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Valid drivers license, ability to drive manual transmission
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Forklift certified is preferred
- Comprehending delivery instructions to job site
- Knowledge of building materials
- Good physical condition for lifting
- Safety conscious
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certified is preferred
