About The Position

Operates a company-owned vehicle (single axle, under 26,000 GVW, non-commercial license) on delivery routing primarily within the Denver Metro area or along the Front Range I-25 corridor, and occasionally throughout other areas of Colorado. Familiarity and understanding of maps and driving directions are required. Responsible for loading of truck in cooperation with day-shift warehousemen, handling of delivery paperwork requirements, and cooperation with customers at job sites; responsible for safe operation of truck, including tying down the load and adherence to all traffic laws. Delivery materials consist of commercial doors, frames, and hardware. Position requires heavy lifting of 50 lbs.Essential Functions Able to safely operate single axle, under 26,000 GVW trucks and understand all features of each truck Able to pass DOT medical certification Understands defensive driving between commercial vehicles and every-day vehicles Able to read maps and follow driving directions Must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Handling of delivery paperwork requirements Cooperation with customers at job sites Keep truck properly maintained

Requirements

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (CDL not required)
• DOT medical certification
• Good eyesight with corrective lenses
• Able to identify products and handle products safely and correctly
• Complete Vehicle Inspection Report daily
• Complete Driver Daily Trip Log when outside 100-mile radius of Denver
• Able to safely operate single axle, under 26,000 GVW trucks and understand all features of each truck
• Understands defensive driving between commercial vehicles and every-day vehicles
• Able to read maps and follow driving directions
• Must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Handling of delivery paperwork requirements
• Cooperation with customers at job sites
• Keep truck properly maintained
• Able to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
