About The Position

The delivery driver is accountable for transporting and delivering food and supply items to Thorntons stores. The driver interacts with customers, loads and unloads vehicles, provides complete and accurate paperwork of all deliveries and assists with daily sanitation. Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license
Must acquire a DOT medical certification card
Must be at least 21 years of age or older
Must be open to work 3rd shift

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent experience
1 year of truck driving experience
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrates the ability to read and follow all road signs
Knowledge of safely driving and operating large vehicles

Responsibilities

Ensure timely, accurate deliveries to our store locations
Track delivery and travel information through daily paperwork
Perform pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle
Safely load and unload trucks to support efficient operations
Assist with sanitation activities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
Support additional responsibilities as needed to keep operations running efficiently
