About The Position

We are seeking a Delivery Driver to complete deliveries for our Tacoma branch. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of construction materials to local job sites, utilizing a forklift and working alongside CWallA Material Stockers.

Essential Functions:

Safe and legal operation of box truck delivery vehicles and forklifts
Loading and unloading materials
Job site stocking
Ability to lift, stand and move throughout the shift

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Proven forklift experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend and twist throughout complete shifts

Responsibilities

• Physically handling materials with the assistance of a Material Stocker
• Safe delivery and off-loading of commercial construction materials
• Participating in the accurate and orderly placement of delivered material at each job site
• Continuously abiding by traffic laws and regulatory agency guidelines
• Various yard duties between deliveries including but not limited to, shipping, receiving and filling customer orders
• Inventory control
