About The Position
Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, has an opportunity for a Delivery Driver. This individual is responsible for pulling, staging, loading and delivery of product to our customers. You will be driving a non-CDL type truck. Adheres to internal controls, policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma.
- Ability to lift, up to 75 lbs.
- Valid Drivers license is required.
- Has insurable driver’s record.
- Powered Industrial Truck Certified.
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Clean Driver’s Record
- Good Safety Record
- Basic math skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Pull, organize, stage, load and deliver products to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Unload, check in, and put away inventory.
- Responsible for accuracy of delivered product, accounting of customer payment, signatures and monies collected.
- Safe operation of warehouse equipment and fleet vehicles in accordance with Company, state and federal guidelines.
- Maintain current certifications and licenses in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Manage accurate records of customer returns for credit, including all related documentation.
- Represent Sullivan Tire in a polite, professional manner at all times. It is imperative to treat all motorists as future Sullivan Tire customers.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
