About The Position

The purpose of this position is to support IBT customers with sales, application, and pricing and proposal assistance while developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with IBT vendors who are essential to meet branch and customer needs, and are consistent with current marketing plans and corporate goals.

Requirements

• Ability to understand technical products and explain them to others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions and information.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton pickup truck and make deliveries and interact with the receiving personnel of our industrial customers (CDL is not required, however an active Driver's License is required).
• Receive daily, truck, UPS, FEDEX freight and print pick tickets.
• Assist in maintaining good vendor relations at the branch location level.
• Maintain open, productive communication between the Store Manager and other personnel at the branch.
• Promote a positive attitude to IBT co-workers, branches, vendors and customers, while promoting all of IBT’s products and services.
• Keep the delivery truck clean and maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
