About The Position
This Delivery Driver role at Aaron's is an active, varied position that goes beyond a typical desk job. Responsibilities include driving, installing, and demonstrating merchandise, as well as providing in-store support such as moving, installing, and picking up items. The role offers a clear career progression, potentially leading from Delivery Driver to Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, and ultimately General Manager, providing opportunities to connect with community members.
Requirements
- Solid communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronics
- Desire to help customers
- Age: 21 (18 in Canada)
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Able to perform physical job including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly
- Able to work in all outdoor weather, including rain or summer sun
- A valid driver’s license is required, but not a CDL
- No overnight travel
