Requirements

Flexible Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and adjust to varying schedules as needed.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude in all customer interactions.
Self -Starter: Ability to work independently, solve problems on the spot, and maintain a strong work ethic.
Reliability: Strong attendance record and commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Screening Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than [1] moving violations in the past [4] years).
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable walking, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
Capable of working in various weather (rain, snow, heat, etc.).
Technology: Proficiency in using GPS navigation apps and handheld delivery devices.
Background Check: Must pass a background check and pre -employment drug screening.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.
Problem -solving skills and adaptability to handle unforeseen challenges.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in delivery services or logistics is a plus.
Familiarity with local delivery areas and routes.
Prior delivery or driving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and business locations using a company -provided delivery van.
Navigate delivery routes using GPS technology and manage time effectively to meet daily delivery goals.
Load and organize packages in the delivery vehicle for optimal efficiency and accuracy.
Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Follow company and legal compliance guidelines, including safety protocols, traffic laws, and package handling procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery updates or issues encountered on the route.
Conduct pre -trip and post -trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and promptly report any incidents or discrepancies.
