About The Position

Apollo Mechanical Contractors is a leading mechanical contractor seeking a dependable, safety-minded Delivery Driver for our satellite distribution centers. In this hands-on role, you will support our warehouse operations by receiving, logging, storing, loading, and delivering materials and equipment that keep our job sites running smoothly. You will handle a wide variety of orders — from lightweight boxes to heavy items weighing hundreds of pounds — while operating company vehicles and forklifts in a fast-paced environment. This is a key position that combines warehouse duties with local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of purchase orders for our mechanical contracting projects.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification (includes passing a DOT medical examination and drug screening).
  • Forklift experience and certification (or willingness to become certified).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle heavier items with mechanical assistance or team lifting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate order tagging and logging.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse, delivery, or material-handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming orders, tag them, and accurately log them into our inventory management system.
  • Store materials properly or prepare them for delivery based on purchase-order notes and customer requirements.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely, using proper lifting techniques, forklifts, and other equipment.
  • Perform timely deliveries to job sites and other designated locations while representing Apollo Mechanical professionally.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and vehicle environment.
  • Complete all required documentation for shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and procedures.
