About The Position
At Zalat, we take our pizza seriously — and our people even more. As a Delivery Driver, you’re not just dropping off orders. You’re representing the brand out on the road and jumping in as part of the in-store team when you’re not driving. If you like staying busy, working with a solid crew, and being trusted to handle your business, this job is for you. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting food, products, or materials to customers or designated locations. You’ll represent our brand with professionalism and help ensure a smooth delivery experience from start to finish.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle + insurance
- Food Handlers Certifiacte
- Must be 18+
- Basic navigation confidence
- Able to lift 25 lbs and handle a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation (if using your own vehicle)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
- Friendly, professional attitude and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Get Zalat pizzas to guests quickly, safely, and professionally
- Maintain great energy and solid customer interaction at the door
- Represent Zalat standards anywhere you go
- Help make pizzas and assist on the line
- Bag and stage orders accurately
- Contribute to store cleanliness and organization
- Jump in wherever the team needs support
- Communicate clearly with fellow drivers and kitchen crew
- Move with urgency and awareness
- Bring a positive, steady attitude to every shift
- Pick up and deliver orders promptly and accurately
- Provide excellent customer service at each delivery stop
- Confirm order contents and handle transactions when necessary
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle
- Communicate with the team regarding delays, issues, or special requests
- Follow delivery routes, traffic laws, and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with packaging and organizing orders when needed
