About The Position

Green Acres Nursery & Supply is a more than a plant nursery. We are a growing company looking to inspire our customer’s gardens one plant / project at a time, expanding their living spaces. www.idiggreenacres.com [http://www.idiggreenacres.com/] We are calling all Delivery Drivers!

Requirements

General knowledge of products and plants.
A passion for outstanding customer service.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong customer service and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to multitask
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Must have driver’s license for at least 3 years.
Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to make scheduled local deliveries.
Load, unload, and secure products for transport.
Ensure vehicles are kept clean and report any maintenance issues.
Deliver merchandise to correct location on specified date and time.
Ensure each order is correct and that it is of the highest quality.
Assemble products (ie. Patio Furniture and Barbecues).
Assist with other tasks as needed during non-delivery hours such as:
Assist customers with product selection and general inquiries
Stock shelves, receive merchandise, and maintain store organization
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle transactions accurately
Support store cleanliness and merchandising standards
Provide excellent customer service.
Maintain neat, professional appearance at all times, including personal appearance.
