About The Position
As a Delivery Driver with 9 Star Logistics LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that packages are delivered safely and efficiently to customers in the community. This position requires you to work 4-5 days a week, with shifts lasting up to 10 hours each day. The starting pay for this role is $19.50 per hour, and you will be provided with a company vehicle, eliminating the need for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Your primary responsibility will be to deliver packages from the delivery vehicle to the customer's doorstep, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will be expected to perform daily safety inspections on your delivery vehicle, load and unload packages, and navigate varying weather conditions. You will also need to adhere to all local and state laws, road regulations, and company policies. Utilizing a smartphone device with GPS for routing and scanning packages is essential, as is the ability to lift and deliver packages weighing up to 50 pounds. The job is physically demanding, requiring you to keep pace with the workload and work in all weather conditions.
