About The Position

The Catering Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering catering orders to clients on time and in a professional manner. This role requires adherence to Panera Bread delivery protocols and policies, as well as effective communication with cafe management staff and the catering coordinator regarding daily tasks. The driver will manage time effectively to ensure all catering orders and deliveries are completed as scheduled. When not delivering, the driver will assist in the cafe with various tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Hold a current State of Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Hold current auto insurance and provide proof.
• Adhere to Panera Bread/Covelli Enterprises dress code policy.
• Adhere to Panera Bread/Covelli Enterprises no smoking policy while on the clock and driving.
• Personal vehicle must be in good running condition and clean.

Responsibilities

• Deliver catering orders to clients on time and in a professional manner.
• Follow Panera Bread delivery protocols and policy.
• Communicate with the cafe management staff and catering coordinator regarding what needs to be completed.
• Manage time effectively for daily catering orders and deliveries.
• Assist in the cafe with dining room, dish, and other needs assigned by the manager.
• Be trained by the catering coordinator on how to bag cookies for catering orders and package boxed lunches.
• Attend to company catering vehicle needs including fueling, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Assist catering coordinator with extra duties such as making coffee totes and assembling supplies.
• Run errands as needed, including picking up items from neighboring cafes.
