About The Position

Xerox is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to support the Greater Tampa Bay and Orlando areas. As a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set-up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. You must also follow up with paperwork for every delivery. The truck drivers work together with the shop and warehouse. This is a full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM with overtime opportunity delivering equipment.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License with a relatively clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs., push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines.
  • Ability to use smartphones and tablets, GPS for navigation, Google Maps when necessary.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16' - 26' box delivery truck preferred but not required - we provide the training!
  • Basic mechanical understanding preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
  • Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • The associate will need to be flexible with overnight stays to meet client and company needs.
  • Work will in Team environment with other truck driver drivers and Warehouse personnel.
  • Perform all paperwork deliver delivery and removals.
  • Unload trucks same day and load for the next day.
  • Connect printer peripherals so that the Multi-Function Devices and Printer deliveries can pass paper
  • Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment
  • Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines
  • Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed
