About The Position

The Delivery / warehouse associate deals directly with our customers on a daily basis, to ensure they have a positive experience. As a member of the branch team, This will primarily be accomplished through picking, loading, delivering, and unloading our products directly to our customers, or to other company locations. This includes safe and efficient operations of vehicle, and material handling equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, dolly's, in compliance of company policy and government regulations. This position will regularly be asked to support other branch activities to ensure its success. this may include but not limited to helping with all warehouse duties, assisting the branch manager and the location's counter sales associates in the support of their duties, inventory management, and other duties required.

Requirements

  • Experience with driving a 26’ commercial straight box truck, and flat bed, Ability to pass a driving test.
  • Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
  • 2+ years of warehouse / distribution center operational work preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combined education and experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and decision-making skills.
  • effective and professional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member, in a high volume fast paced environment.
  • strong analytical skills, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in windows and Microsoft office software.
  • 2-4 years of delivery driver experience of a NON - CDL commercial vehicle weighing 10k-26k pounds, CDL, DOT experience is highly welcomed.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC industry experience prefered, including warehouse and forlift operations.

  • receive returned product from customers - inspecting for damage, check packing slip for product accuracy, and securing returning product to ensure safe and undamaged return.
  • Ensure the safe conditions and operations of our company vehicles.
  • Accurate and secure transport of ordered parts and equipment to our customers.
  • Pleasant and cooperative delivery of orders, recognizing your role as an ambassador of our company and brand.
