Position Summary The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments and their operations. In this high impact role, you will serve as a liaison between long term care facilities and delivery staff. You will train all transport personnel. The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments operations.

Requirements

  • Driver’s license in good standing and a clean driving record
  • Possess strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills and work well with other employees
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to use routing software (if applicable)
  • Ability to drive a standard transmission IF necessary.
  • Customer service orientation
  • Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
  • Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
  • Lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes
  • Monitor work flow to analyze patterns and trends
  • Review and set standards for staff
  • Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies into long term care facilities or patient’s homes
  • Conduct routing staff meetings
  • Attend management meetings as required
