About The Position

Deliver materials and parts to customers and vendors driving company-operated vehicles Position will also include to assist loading delivery trucks and performing task that will be delegated by shipping and inventory management when not on deliveries. Precision Metal Products LLC manufactures quality precision fabricated metal assemblies, and components for industries such as military and defense, medical, automotive and off-road, industrial, commercial, and many more. PMP is looking for people to join our fabrication team. We are currently seeking candidates for a welder fabricator as described below.

Requirements

Must have a valid drivers’ license
Must be insurable under the Company’s driver insurance
Ability to drive and operate a Forklift
Being able to work with the team
Good communication skills
Good organizational skills
Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 lbs.
Basic Computer skills
Basic Math skills

Responsibilities

Drive company delivery truck to pick up/deliver parts safely, and damaged free.
Inspects incoming shipment and outgoing shipments per work instructions
Verifies the packing slip to the outgoing or incoming parts.
Work closely with Inventory Control Manager to resolve vendor issues as they arise.
Load and unload parts and materials using pallet jack or hi-lo.
Fulfill duties of Material Handler and other basic shop duties.
Assist in maintaining packaging and shipping/receiving supplies as needed.
Assist with counting of physical inventory as needed.
Ensure that shipping/dock area is accessible and safe
Deliver or route materials to departments using forklift, or sorting bins.
Perform other shop duties
Versatility - help in other fabrication processes as need it.
Communication - Active Listening giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Speaking – communicate with others to convey the information effectively.
