Requirements

HS Diploma or GED
Must have clean driving record and maintain throughout employment

Nice To Haves

Prior forklift operator experience
Willingness to run tire press and/or learn to do so

Responsibilities

Deliver goods while operating a half ton company issued van/vehicle.
Load and unload cargo.
Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
Follow all applicable traffic laws.
Inspect their company vehicle before and after the trip, and record any defects they find.
Follow proper accident procedures if an accident occurs.
Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
Make sure the truck is equipped with safety equipment.
Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
Get goods to client on time.
Transport hazardous materials.
Take special precautions while driving.
Maintain log of all trips.
Consistent communication and interaction with service techs and customers.
Some overtime will be available based on business needs.
