About The Position

Medical Associates is hiring a part-time Delivery Van Driver to join the Purchasing & Distribution team. The primary schedule is from 11am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a 5 days on, 5 days off rotation. Every other Tuesday, the shift starts at 10am. The position involves providing timely and consistent pickup and delivery of supplies, medications, mail, interoffice documents, medical records, and other miscellaneous items to and from Medical Associates offices. Some furniture and equipment moving is required with assistance. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively through quick exchanges, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, will serve this individual well. Flexibility in roles is a must, as this position is expected to know all driver routes and cover for drivers on leave. Coverage of other drivers' routes is required.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience of 3 months to 1 year in a similar or related position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous delivery driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and consistent pickup and delivery of supplies, medications, mail, interoffice documents, medical records, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Move furniture and equipment as required with assistance.
  • Pickup and deliver inactive documents and other items, such as furniture and medical equipment, as requested by departments to and from warehouse/satellites.
  • Manage warehouse inventory and maintain tidiness.
  • Respond to stat requests quickly and positively.
  • Ensure vehicle is scheduled for routine maintenance and repairs are timely, coordinating with the Manager.
  • Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
